Called bloodroot, I understand, because the roots were used to create red dyes back in the day. They certainly brighten an early spring day.

P.S. Definitely get the L.L.Bean flannel jacket. :-) You'll love it.Mike Sepelakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10569706920906836936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5791496318819973464.post-44796066349449458832011-03-30T01:47:07.379-04:002011-03-30T01:47:07.379-04:00Those Bloodroot plants are amazing. I got Photoshop Elements for my birthday and have salvaged some of my attempts at pretending to be a real photographer.Mickiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16145585669821100004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5791496318819973464.post-51755368545820930702011-03-24T12:22:02.825-04:002011-03-24T12:22:02.825-04:00Nice salvaged images.

You just hold them at arm's length from your body, and take the picture with the fish real close to the camera. You can stretch a 14" bass into at least a 3 pounder for sure. I think most of us fisherman are pros at this technique.Jayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08288928187563951613noreply@blogger.com
